Crank Brothers Cobalt 29er Disc Wheelset: Same lightweight build as the 26" Cobalt wheels, except with 29" rims. 19mm ID (23.6mm OD) welded, anodized 6061-T6 aluminum rim with machined "Y" ribbed cross-section. 1.6 spokes attach at the base of the "Y" via 12 small stainless steel cylinder (12 points of attachment for the 24 spokes). Without holes, the rim maintains high strength and is great for tubeless. TwinPair spoke design: half stainless steel and half aluminum (think of the aluminum half as more of a super-elongated standard nipple). Truing is accomplished with a standard spoke wrench, and spoke replacement can be accomplished without removing the tire. Front hub is standard quick release, rear has four cartridge bearings, 17mm axle and incorporates a six-pawl driver on an aluminum HG 8/9sp freehub body (6 pawls, 3 engaging concurrently, 48 clicks per revolution). International Standard 6-bolt disc rotor mount. Crank Brothers Split quick release skewers (color-matched) included. Adapter for converting front quick release to 15mm thru-axle sold separately.
